About the Role:

• Clearing & Forwarding Officer Jobs in Lusaka As a Clearing & Forwarding Officer at Kenz Motors Limited, you will be responsible for managing all customs clearance and forwarding activities.
• You will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth importation processes, with a particular focus on motor vehicles and other consignments.
• This full-time position demands accuracy, compliance with customs regulations, and effective coordination with multiple stakeholders.
• Key Responsibilities Manage customs clearing and forwarding procedures efficiently and accurately.
• Prepare and process all necessary customs documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Work closely with Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) Customs and utilize ASYCUDA systems.
• Coordinate clearance of imported motor vehicles and various consignments.
• Calculate and verify applicable duties, taxes, and fees.
• Liaise with ZRA, TMO/TMU, transporters, port authorities, and other relevant agencies.
• Monitor shipments from arrival through to final clearance, ensuring timely processing.
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates on clearance status.
• Support continuous improvement of clearing and forwarding operations within the company.
• Candidate Requirements Certificate or Diploma in Clearing & Forwarding, Customs, Logistics, Transport, or a related field.
• Proven practical experience in customs clearing and forwarding processes.
• Strong knowledge of ZRA Customs procedures and ASYCUDA software.
• Experience with motor vehicle importation and clearance is highly advantageous.
• Good computer literacy and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and professionalism.
• Capability to provide references from previous employers upon request.
• Location and Employment Details This role is based in Lusaka, with operations extending to Mazabuka and Nakonde in Zambia.
• The position is offered on a full-time basis within the Transport & Logistics sector.
