CATTLE HERDMAN / ATTENDANT (9 MONTH FIXED TERM) (2)
Description
The farm is looking for experienced Cattle herd man to join the BUSE Farm Trust.
Duties
Counting the number of cattle at handover/ takeover on a daily basis.
Open the pens and release cattle into the pastures or paddocks.
continuously monitoring the cattle so that they do not go astray or destroy crops.
Dipping of the cattle, dehorning, castration etc
Check the health of the animals and report any observations.
Monitoring pregnant animals during birth and report to the supervisor
Qualifications And Experience
Minimum Qualification
Three (3) Ordinary levels
Five (5) months on-the-job experience

Understanding animal behavior
Animal handling skills
