ASSISTANT MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

ABOUT US:
Graylands Park is a growing company developing residential stands with full insfrastructure We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Mechanical Technician to support our workshop & site operations.

ROLE SUMMARY
The Assistant Mechanical Technician will work under the Mechanical Technician to maintain, service & repair equipment, generators, water pumps & tools used in stand development.

KEY DUTIES:
Assist with servicing & repair of generators, water pumps, compressors & vehicles.
Carry out preventative maintenance as per schedule. Support installation of mechanical components on site.
Maintain workshop tools & keep the work area clean & safe.
Report faults & assist with parts requisition. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and PPE use.

REQUIREMENTS
Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relates field.
1-3 years experience in a workshop or construction environment preferred. Must be able to read basic mechanical drawings & service manuals.
Basic knowledge of Diesel engines, hydraulics & pumps.
Physically fit & willing to work on-site. A Zimbabwean drivers license is an added advantage.
