ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and trustworthy Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide accounting and financial support across our Real Estate, Legal, and Construction divisions.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with monthly management accounts.
Process invoices, receipts and payments.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Assist with payroll preparation and statutory submissions.
Prepare VAT and other tax schedules for review.
Monitor cash flow and maintain petty cash records.
Support budgeting and financial reporting.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, banks, and relevant authorities.
Assist with audit preparations and ensure compliance with financial policies.
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 2 years’ experience in an accounting role.
Experience in the real estate, legal, or construction sector will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of Zimbabwean tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
